Why Film?
Using short therapeutic films with the support of a trained facilitator serves as a catalyst for healing-centered dialogue. Viewers gain new insight about their values, worldviews, and beliefs. Film acts as a container to establish a safe distance from difficult topics. The films are all roughly 5 minutes long and can be shown and re-shown to measure change overtime. POVS films are specifically created to address common stuck points and to promote growth amongst those who have experienced harm or violence within the commercial sex industry.
